***NEW RECIPE SWAP***

*Please Note That Swaps Are Open To Club Members Only*

First a definition:

A recipe swap (at least one that I'm hosting) will be a 6" x 6" piece of scrapbook paper with a recipe card attached with a recipe that matches the theme/ingredient for that month. You can decorate the "sheet" with stamps, die cuts, ribbon, embellishments, anything that enhances your recipe.(that's the fun part). The 6 x 6 size is convenient since there are 6 x 6 albums available and they are small enough to keep in your kitchen, and you get 4 sheets from every 12 x 12 Scrapbook paper so its cost effective. You can use a 3 x 5 index card for the recipe and you still have plenty of room for decorating. (or you can type your recipe and print it out, which I have done in the past)

Like other swaps, you will make a certain number of the same sheet. For example let's say a total of 10 sign up (including yourself). You will make 10 of the same and you will get 9 different recipes back, plus one of your own.

I think we can get this going pretty quickly. Here is the list of "themes/ingredients" for 2010:

Feb: Chocolate
Mar: Dips
Apr: Cake
May: Chicken or pasta
Jun: Pie
Jul: Fruit
Aug: Seafood
Sep: Beef or pork
Oct: Appetizers
Nov: Dessert
Dec: Cookies

I kept it very vague so you would have lots of choices. If you are interested in this swap, please send me.

Please sign up by December 31st. That way we will have a little more than a month to make our first cards. I will get a number of signups to you as soon as possible. Can't wait to get started!!!
